Asia Shipping India Honoured at India Cargo Awards For Air And Sea Achievements

The India Cargo Awards North & East were held in the city of New Delhi on October 13. The event recognized those companies on the Indian cargo transport market that have helped drive economic development throughout the region, particularly in the north and east of the country.

Asia Shipping received two awards during the event.

Amit Tandon, company director, received the awards for Best Logistic Service Provider – Ocean and
Fastest Growing Freight Forwarder – Air.

The India Cargo Awards supports the India cargo industry by identifying operational excellence; it also inspires companies to continue improving their product and service offerings. Based on a unique jury and website voting system, the awards are fair and impartial; they were followed by a formal and glamorous black tie ceremony attended by the industry’s main players.

The event was sponsored by the government of India and Ministry of Civil Aviation, and is acknowledged as one of the most esteemed awards in the cargo industry of India.
