Aries Global Logistics, USA, & Movex, India, collaborate on special shipment

Recently Aries Global Logistics, USA had the opportunity to collaborate on a move at the request of Movex India.
The move required special handling as the shipment was used uncrated engines that needed to be moved from
a remote Texas area to Houston and then airfreighted to India. In order to prepare for the move, The District
Manager of AGL’s Houston office, Rudy Gutierrez did the necessary site visit to determine the scope of the work
to prepare for the domestic portion of the move to the packing facility. Based on the airline requirements to
move this equipment, Rudy worked with and made multiple visits to the packing facility to ensure the goods were
packed accordingly to the airline specifications. Work with the airlines was also required to secure a competitive
price /service option to suit Movex and their clients requirements.

Recap of the move included site visit of the shipper prepare pickup via 3 Flatbeds to our packing facility in Houston
for packing. Packing the engines according to the airline loading requirement with packing facility visits to ensure
proper packing. Engines were bolted down and lashed with banding/strap for additional security.

Complete turn around was 4 business days from time of pickup to tender to the airline. Arranged to have all
3 engines moved on 1 flight ex HOU as booked. Goods arrived as planned and delivery to be made by the Movex team.
